Should a new DC be concerned about Ruffin’s roll and loyalty to the new DC?

First of all I know nothing about coach Ruffin and his coaching style. My conspiracy sounding comments are based on nothing but perception and looking between the lines.

I’m not so sure how supportive Ruffin was to Mike Stoops. Ruffin has commented on showing love to the players, whereas Stoops is old school with his style (tough, abrasive, etc).

Stoops apparently lost his players and they were not playing for him. If Ruffin or any other coach was extending inappropriate sympathy or support , then Stoops was effectively being under mined. Whether intentially or not.

Stoops in his comments to Dusty indicated that he did not have full coaching support.

Some of you have said that Ruffin was hired to provide an inside link to the defense for LR.

In any event I’m guessing that there was bad coaching chemistry and loyalties in the defensive side. A very shitty deal.

As you know, the coaching fraternity is very tight knit and there are no secrets.

Anyway since Stoops firing, I’m been trying to understand how a professional could go from hero to zero and it just seemed that their had to be other dynamics involved.

My 50 years of business experience have suggested that there’s more to the story.

If there’s anything to any of the above conjecture, then I’m quiet sure any new coaching applicant is going to be aware of it.

So again my question is, is Ruffin (or another coach), one to many roosters in the hen house?
