Easy hear me out...we’re still getting burned. We are still missing assignments. Our small guys are still getting beat by bigger receivers. All of those things have consistently happened all year that’s not a debate. However, for the majority of the year we were getting beat down and also not making any positive plays. The past few games they have slowly started making some positive plays here and there that have helped generate stops.
Motley is still getting beat but has also had some good PBU’s. Norwood makes a couple good tackles yesterday on guys twice his size and comes up with the int at the end. Brown saves the bedlam game and makes the play of the game yesterday. Barnes has made positive plays. We aren’t all world and this thing is far from fixed but at least we are starting to win a few battles here and there. We’ve all said that our offense is good enough to beat anyone if our defense can get a few stops and as bad as we still look at times we have started getting a few stops. I’ve bitched about the defense as much as anyone but I’ll give a little credit where it’s due.
