They may have had the best team a few years, but they have never been tested week in and week out. The SEC has never played a team with talent running a Big XII type offense until this year in Alabama...they’re now being crowned the best ever.
I agree there have been some great teams, but when you can stack your D with size because you’re never spread out, you should be able to stop the run and pressure the QB. When Florida has speed and threw the ball around they smoked the vaunted SEC West...Then Urban left.
Without Chuvk Long going into a shell against LSU and throwing it 4 downs in a row after we were pounding it down their throat we would have won NC #8 running all over SEC royalty. Same goes to losing to Florida if we hadn’t lost DeMarco.

Anyone notice the NFL scoring like crazy and not playing too much D the other night? It’s moving to the NFL too. You can’t cover the whole field, a smart OC and QB will find the open areas.
