can you imagine being a player on that team or a prospective recruit and knowing that your head coach was actively plotting behind the ADs back to weasel out of a marquee game presumably because he was too embarrassed to run out onto the field with you .. he was actively conspiring to deny his players an opportunity to showcase themselves on a huge national stage

and then to cowardly let the AD go out there to take your bullets is nothing short of disgraceful

If true it's as bad look for Frost and the program because you know other schools will tell recruits that their coach doesn't think his players are good enough to play marquee teams.

I am not surprised one bit that Frost would lead the charge to get out of the game with us. He's on the hot seat and needs wins. Getting blown out by OUr Sooners will make the seat warmer.

It's a bad look for us (Husker Fans) for sure if true... which unfortunately I believe it is true... I will tell you that Huskerland was pissed off when this rumor hit months ago as the vast majority wants to play OU regardless of what happens on the field... we long for the nostalgia of our old rivalry and for the history of this game...

I will be in Norman for the game in my Husker gear with my good friend who is a Huge OU fan and am looking forward to it... Hopefully we'll be at the game in Lincoln in 2022 so long as schedules hold together with Covid/conference realignment
