Here are highlights from OC Lincoln Riley's meeting with the media on Tuesday after practice ...

SCOOPHD: Lincoln Riley Post Prac 11-2

* Obviously there are a number of things to like about Oklahoma offensively. In the season’s first five games, OU averaged 144.2 rushing yards, 3.6 yards per carry. Over the last three outings, the Sooners are averaging
300.7 rushing yards on 6.0 yards per attempt.

* Going back the last game & a half Oklahoma has scored touchdowns on 13 of 18 possession (not including a muffed punt at Kansas onSaturday) and attempted field goals on three others (made two).

* Oklahoma's 710 yards of offense vs. Kansas were the third most in the Bob Stoops era. Riley's offense now own the 1st & 3rd spot in the category, the record setter coming earlier in the year vs. Kansas (773 yards)

- Baker Mayfield has been phenomenal. There really no other way to put it. He completed 27 of 32 passes for 383 yards and four TDs vs. Kansas, this in just one half and one possession of work. His 226.2 passer rating is the second best in OU history among quarterbacks who have attempted at least 30 passes in a game.

- Mayfield's 332 yards in the first half vs. Kansas were the second most in school history. Sam Bradford owns the record throwing for 350 yards vs. North Texas.

* Riley calls Sterling Shepard's afternoon the best outing of his senior season. His 11 reception, 183 yard performance was the most by a Sooner wide receiver this season, and the 183 yards were the
ninth most in school history.

* Shepard's first half was superb, as he and Mayfield hooked up 10 times for 174 yards ... Shepard finished the half just four yards shy of the all-time mark.

* Shepard record watch: He's currently 3 TDs shy of tying Kenny Stills (24) for 4th all-time TD receptions, while just 12 receptions from tying Juaqin Iglesias (202) for No.4 all-time receptions.

* Riley talks Mark Andrews becoming a bigger role in the Sooners offense as well as Joe Mixon's ever growing confidence and comfort as they move down the back stretch of the schedule.
