Sam can't buy a break. Well maybe he can buy one but I'm guessing that he would like to parlay his talents on the field to up his worth on a new contract. The good news for me is now I do not have to root for the Eagles.

I'm sure Sam is competitive as the next guy, but maybe he should think about giving up football. He's made his millions, but has two knee surgeries, a concussion (maybe more) and now a separated shoulder to show for it. I would love to see him bounce back and silence his critics, but I just don't see that happening in Philly. After this season, he might not get any looks from other teams, so the decision may already be made for him.

Sam has had the misfortune to play for two horrible teams with no offensive line or receivers. I'm not sure how you can be so ineffective as to have some great running backs run to the right for a five yard loss over and over, only to have a quarterback running for his life consistently.
