“I think from top to bottom, this is the deepest team that I’ve ever been on,” Bradford said. “You look at what we’ve got on the outside, what we’ve got at the tight end position and in the running back room- it’s three, four or five deep at each position.
“I think that plays into our advantage, especially at the tempo that we play in and as many plays as we run, we can sub guys in and we don’t miss a beat. The defense has to keep their guys on the field and they get tired, and that’s when our tempo really plays to our advantage in the third and fourth quarter.”
Bradford has passed every test so far, and in 10 days, he’ll be able to prove just how hard he’s been working to get back between the white lines.
And he's even showing off some of his wheels in Chip Kelly's offense.
“He actually took off and ran two days ago (at Lincoln Financial Field) on the one where everybody was covered and he made a good decision there," Kelly said. "It's just a process of him getting more familiar with the speed and tempo of things.”
