Rudolph wins Unitas award

In the article, the following is mentioned.

"ESPN.com pointed out the award also factors in "character, citizenship, scholastic achievement and leadership qualities."

He is either being dinged for character and/or citizenship. It clearly can't be the other two or the quality of his play at quarterback. Too much judging by the talking heads. I'm sure the ones that know him best would speak highly of his character and citizenship.

Ironically, Rudolph will probably get more Adoration/Recognition from fans OUtside Oklahoma...Those here, especially the ones who have watched Bedlam Games, know that for him to get it over Baker, there has to be some bias, or extenuatings...Baker's the BEST!

Sports writers have very short memories. The preseason talk was that OU's offense would take a big hit from the loss of Mixon, Perine, and Westbrook despite the return of Mayfield. Well, that didn't happen.

Mayfield has led a group of relative no namers into the best offense in college football, the Big 12 Championship game, and probably the CFB playoffs. Yeah, that's worthy of the Heisman.
