This might interest a couple of you. We always hear about UT's substantive positive "gap" in RRS wins. I wanted to dissect that and teach myself "what gives?". So, I just created this little line graph. The dotted line is the "gap" in wins between the schools. That started at zero and quickly rose to +5 as we lost the first five contests. That uses the secondary axis on the right.
And then 1922 - 1947... ugh... and we lost EIGHT in a row from 1940 to 1947 (horns don't go to war?
). From 1958 to 1970, we went 1-12!!
Then I carve out 4 periods of OU dominance. Also of note... POST-WAR, 1948 to present, we are 36-33-1 versus those scumbags.
