Rough Rider Alternates

Will be wearing them Saturday. Was hoping never to see them again since they were worn in the loss to Iowa St last year. LR says they were altered a little but won't be enough for me.?

I guess if the players embrace and like wearing the alternate jerseys, that is all that matters. Now the Coaches & Players must execute a much better game plan than when we popped a squat against the Clones last year.

Ugh. Not a fan of alternate uni's. Bad mojo. We wore them against Tech one year and lost, not to mention the loss last year to ISU in alternate uni's. Just go with the tried and true uni and we'll be alright!

While I don't credit wins or losses on what uniform a team wears, I'm not a fan of the alternate uniforms, especially for teams with such a winning legacy as OU, Alabama, Ohio State, etc. But I understand the reasons why so many teams do it.
If OU must have an alternate uniform, why not one resembling the uniform prior to 1966 ?.......a white helmet with a thin red stripe down the middle, white pants with two then red lines on the sides and a red or white jersey ?
