Sorta weird. We got cut off before everyone (me included) got to ask their question. Sorry. And no injury/eligibility updates.

Superman at 20?
I think the play is still impactful. Still just one of those plays where it’s kind of like looking at some of Joe’s old highlights, Joe Washington’s or another name. There’s a million others here. It’s still such an unbelievable play. I mean, any era, anytime, any league, anywhere, that play is so unbelievable... On top of it it came at such a critical moment in that game. It’s still one of those iconic plays that will shown every single year that people will never forget about. People that maybe weren’t around to see it will learn about it as it goes on.

Tyrese penalty a teachable moment?
It makes it feel more real. I mean, if we’d gone and covered that kick we still wouldn’t have been happy about it. Let’s say we cover that kick and we stop them and the game ends there, you still go back the next week or when we would have reviewed the film, you tell them, ‘Hey, if they would have returned this kick now we’ve got a ballgame.’ So it does make it more real. Every play that happens is a chance for these guys to see why we emphasize the things we do as coaches and why they’re also on board. You’re on these guys so much. The best teams continue to listen. The best teams continue to learn and understand that every play is an opportunity to do something well, every play is an opportunity like that where you open the door for an opponent. That’s been such a big push for us. That’s something we’ve been pretty good at the majority of the season. Disappointed it happened in that moment, but I do think Tyrese will learn from it, I think our team will learn from it. We did a good job of closing it out so it didn’t cost us the game. Big mistakes like that can do that. We’ll need to do better with it going forward.

NCAA signing limits increasing?
I think it's necessary right now. When it came to us, couldn't oppose it. I just think there's enough rosters that are in trouble right now. The thing you hope it doesn't do is just push more transfers. That's not the intent, but at the same time, schools have gotta be able to make out a roster. I guess in a way, I reluctantly supported it from that view. It'll be good to be able to sign some guys. I do think a strong potential benefit of it is, we've talked a lot about, you take more transfers but you don't have more spots, so now you're signing less high school guys, so there's less guys out of high schools getting opportunities, getting scholarships. It's the trickle-down effect, whereas this, it doesn't totally protect the 25 because you still can sign more transfers, but if you go over it, then it's transfers only, so I do think it will promote signing a few more high schools guys for everybody, which I think will be good for high schools, high school players, the sport, everybody. There's good and bad of it. But I think it was necessary and I think probably the right thing to do at this point.

Like your leadership on this team?
I think the leadership on this team is very good. I would point to, I don't think teams that have weak leadership win close games very often. Teams that excel in those moments, typically, I think have strong leadership from from a player's point of view. And so our guys have been good, they've been proactive, they've spent a lot of time, not just in — every place, you know, you can have players-only meeting in crisis mode or, you know, something doesn't go well. But our guys have been pretty diligent about continuing to meet on their own, to have players-only get-together meetings, all that, kind of really throughout the offseason and throughout our season. It's pretty normal for us, which has been, it's been good. I think we've had some guys have really taken a proactive approach
So no, I like the leadership this team and I would say, just like our team as a whole, all of us, I mean we want that to continue to develop, you know. We want our leaders to continue to develop, we want our our young leaders to continue to develop, we want our people maybe that aren't leaders yet to continue to follow the right message and the right people at a high level. So, I think you always want it to improve, but I would not … I would look at our team right now and characterize our team as a team that has some very, very good leadership and some guys that want to win really bad.
