So I've been trying to think of similarities or coincidences for this years 2015 Sooners as compared to the 2000 team. If you have more please help. Pretty cool

1. 15 year spreads between titles. '85-2000 2000-2015(if we win of course)

2. Both teams led by QB's in year 2 at OU

3. Torrence Marshall and Steven Parker both wear #10 and both can be attributed for a defensive stop to preserve team goals and the season

4. Both teams led by 1st year Offensive Coordinators (manginos 2nd year with team but first as OC)

5. Each team started #20 in the preseason

6. Each team sent a QB to NY for the Heisman Ceremony(Baker could finish second just like Heupel)

7. Both teams QBs were from other college programs and not originally recruited by sooner coaches

Anything else. I'm sure there is.
