A High School Football Field Somewhere
OFFENSE:

QB: Kyler Murray - 94 - Was a bit up and down but the highs greatly outweighed the lows.
RB: Rodney Anderson - 88 - Very good before he got hurt.
TE: Grant Calcaterra - 87 - Loved him coming back for the ball on the throw to Murray's left.
WR: Myles Tease - 81 - Other than a few nice blocks I didn't notice him much.
WR: Cedarian Lamb - 100 - ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!
WR: Marquise Brown - 93 - How can you not have fun watching this guy stretch the field.
LT: Bobby Evans - 80 - I'm pretty sure the fourth down mishap fell at Evans' feet.
LG: Ben Powers - 84 - Good, but not at the level everyone has become accustomed to.
C: Creed Humphrey - 81 - Not perfect but not as bad as some early reviews I'm seeing.
RG: Dru Samia - 77 - Just saw no push from the right.
RT: Cody Ford - 80 - Has done a nice job in pass protection through two games.

Offensive Average: 85.9 (945)

DEFENSE:

DE: Kenneth Mann - 91 - There were stretches he was everywhere.
DT: Neville Gallimore - 87 - Actually thought he was a lot more impactful this week.
DE: Amani Bledsoe - 84 - Not as dominant as last week but very solid.
JACK: Mark Jackson - 91 - Not sure everyone will talk about it but guy was very sturdy.
LB: Kenneth Murray - 92 - Serving up some crow for you all right here, guy was DOMINANT in the first half.
LB: Curtis Bolton - 94 - Bolton on the other hand was more consistently troublesome for UCLA throughout.
NB: Brendan Radley-Hiles - 72 - Radley-Hiles was better in the second half but missed a LOT of tackles int he first half.
CB: Parnell Motley - 89 - Living up to the hype of the last few years.
CB: Tre Norwood - 87 - Big sack and was just as consistent as ever, nothing happening on his side of the field.
S: Justin Broiles - 84 - Keeping things largely quiet but made a nice PBU.
S: Kahlil Haughton - 65 - The bust was bad, had a few other misses but was just ok for much of the game.

Defensive Average: 85.1 (936)

SPECIAL TEAMS:

K: Austin Seibert - 85 - The talented kicker didn't have to do much on Saturday.
P: Austin Seibert - 83 - Had a few short ones, he was largely ok, but wasn't his best day.
KR: Tre Brown - 98 - If he scores the touchdown he gets the final two points, very strong.
PR: Cedarian Lamb - 96 - Man was the return game good or what?

Special Teams Average: 91 (364)

KEY RESERVES:

RB: T.J. Pledger - 85 - His future may have changed with Anderson's injury.
RB: Trey Sermon - 70 - Sermon danced too much but didn't have a lot of good looks.
WR: A.D. Miller - 84 - Is he finally ready to prove @Carey_Murdock right?
DE: Ronnie Perkins - 89 - Had his first career sack, guy continues to make huge waves.
LB: Ryan Jones - 85 - This was the day of the linebacker and he was a big part of it.
CB: Tre Brown - 85 - Got beaten on a deep ball that he was not, at all, at fault for - incredible catch/throw.

Reserves Average: 83 (498)

Team Average: 85.7 (2743)

My Team Grade: 86

It isn't every day that my picked score and my team average come out this close but I thought you had a, basically, strong day with some few glaring holes.

The good news is this provides Oklahoma an easy way to spur their guys on toward the rest of the season after having half the world telling them how near perfect they were following Florida Atlantic.

Last week was the day of the defensive ends but today it was the four man linebacker crew of Jackson, Bolton, Murray, and Jones that really stole the show in my eyes.

The thing that stood out though? There was no real performance that was so glaringly bad that it dragged down the rest of the team. Other than Lamb there may not have been anyone having a historically good day but there also weren't any that showed signs of being an issue all season for the Sooners.

Scoring Standard:

100-82: Playoff Contender
82-74: Big 12 Title Contender
74-65: Bowl Game Participant
65-0: 'I'll be hoooome for Christmas
