OFFENSE:

QB: Spencer Rattler - 74 - I was surprised he was benched, but thought he responded to it pretty well.
RB: T.J. Pledger - 92 - Was a DUDE today, I just love how he balances his patience with when to lower his head.
TE: Austin Stogner - 81 - Not his best game but a solid effort, GREAT catch for the touchdown.
WR: Drake Stoops - 60 - Had some bad blocks on bubbles but a TD that big can't be ignored.
WR: Charleston Rambo - 45 - Is he in danger of losing his starting spot?
WR: Theo Wease - 85 - Hey, did we see the light starting to come on today?
OT: Erik Swenson- 50 - It's like being an honorary alum or something.
OG: Marquis Hayes - 81 - Hayeswas more like himself on Saturday.
C: Creed Humphrey - 86 - Really did a great job dealing with a pretty talented interior DL for Texas.
OG: Tyrese Robinson - 83 - Best game of the year, best game in a while.
OT: Adrian Ealy - 84 - He's been steady all season (at RT anyway) and today was more of it.

Offense: Average: 74.6 (821)

DEFENSE:

DT: Isaiah Thomas - 92 - Score matches the number he was a force for Texas to deal with.
NT: Perrion Winfrey - 86 - Flashed some huge plays and the block was massive.
DT: Laron Stokes - 81 - I actually noticed him, that's a big win.
RUSH: Nik Bonitto - 84 - Really liked what he largely brought.
LB: Brian Asamoah - 77 - Really thought he had a solid game.
LB: DaShaun White - 62 - Wildly up and down, his fall on Ehlinger's OT touchdown run allowed the TD.
NB: Brendan Radley-Hiles - 50 - It's just bad.
CB: Tre Brown - 73 - Talk about a yo-yo game, that guy saves his best for the biggest moments.
CB: Jaden Davis - 82 - Thought he was so steady all day long.
S: Pat Fields - 25 - At some points OU has to understand what's happening and address it.
S: Delarrin Turner-Yell - 74 - Thought he made a lot of solid tackles in space.

Defense Average: 71.5 (786)

SPECIAL TEAMS:

K: Gabe Brkic - 90 - Guy was nails on kickoff all day but he may think about that miss for a long time.
P: Reeves Mundschau - 90 - Really thought he was outstanding.
KR: Charleston Rambo - 54 - Dance, dance, dance...
PR: Marvin Mims - 84 - Largely quiet but his one return was huge.

Special Teams Average: 79.5 (318)

Key Reserves:

QB: Tanner Mordecai - 55 - I thought he was ok but didn't spark much.
RB: Marcus Major - 78 - Steady performance, really came through at a few different moments.
HB: Jeremiah Hall - 96 - Watch Pledger's short touchdown run in the third...an INCREDIBLE block.
HB: Mikey Henderson - 83 - Had a good game and if he'd have been seen a time or two could have been even bigger.
WR: Marvin Mims - 85 - Wish they'd have found more touches for him in the second half.
OT: Anton Harrison - 85 - The work of Joseph Ossai changed as quickly as he came on.
DT: Josh Ellison - 74 - I thought he was a pretty steady force for Oklahoma.
RUSH: JM Terry - 81 - I thought he had a pretty solid day.
LB: David Ugwoegbu - 84 - Such a huge impact, he HAS to get more snaps.
CB: Woodi Washington - 94 - Defensive MVP of the gamer, there was NO joy to be found over there.
DB: Tre Norwood - 65 - Thought he had decent moments but was trailing WRs a few too many times.

Reserves Average: 70.9 (780)

Team Average: 73.2 (2707)

My Team Grade: 74

Breakdown: I really came away pretty happy with my individual scores and didn't think there was a huge need for an adjustment. But I will say those scores changed a ton over the last hour. I thought the defensive line was largely outstanding and there is no world in which we live that Woodi Washington isn't a starter, one way or another, in the secondary.

Offensively, can we stop with the Erik Swenson stuff? It's GOT to stop.

The thing I want to give the defense for is that they just kept fighting, came up with stops in two of the four OTs and honestly looked like they were just wearing down in the fourth after dominating for three quarters.

At some point, there's a pattern there that has to be identified - is it conditioning or something else? Just can't ignore it any more.

But the bottom line, Oklahoma for the first time in three weeks made the plays at the end to win the game, to me that's growth even if it's really ugly growth.

Scoring Standard:

100-82: Playoff Contender
82-74: Big 12 Title Contender
74-65: Bowl Game Participant
65-0: 'I'll be hoooome for Christmas
