QB: Kyler Murray - 84 - He was far from his best, catastrophic early on, but he got himself out of the mess he created.
RB: Trey Sermon - 94 - Man, when he has lanes like he did tonight, he is tough to contend with.
TE: Grant Calcaterra - 87 - Calcaterra made some huge catches when his team needed them.
WR: Marquise Brown - 84 - GREAT block on Sermon's final touchdown but just wasn't himself.
WR: Cedarian Lamb - 77 - Had some big moments down the stretch but several bad drops and the penalties in the third were horrific.
WR: A.D. Miller - 65 - Another day goes by and I really don't notice him...
LT: Bobby Evans - 91 - Watch him pull on Sermon's last TWO touchdowns...BURIES the LBs.
LG: Ben Powers - 87 - Really think he is back to the guy we all saw in 2017.
C: Creed Humphrey - 85 - Only thought Oklahoma looked mixed on one blitz all night.
RG: Dru Samia - 90 - His pick up on the fourth down conversion on OU's final scoring drive was huge.
RT: Cody Ford - 86 - My only real beef is the repeated issues with penalties.
Offensive Average: 85.5 (930)
DEFENSE:
DE: Kenneth Mann - 82 - When Oklahoma brought four, he had success getting pressure.
DT: Neville Gallimore - 85 - Was very solid up the middle.
DT: Amani Bledsoe - 81 - Continue to think he is coming on at the right time.
DE: Ronnie Perkins - 88 - Really made some nice plays out wide.
LB: Kenneth Murray - 79 - Saw some missed tackles, just didn't look right to me tonight.
LB: Curtis Bolton - 74 - Not a terrible night but just kind of quiet.
LB: Ryan Jones - 65 - SAw him a few times but I don't remember thinking much of his work.
CB: Tre Brown - 91 - Guy made play after play, even when passes were complete, he made the tackle in space.
CB: Tre Norwood - 73 - He was far, far, far from dominant but he was ok.
S: Robert Barnes- 88 - Hard to ignore that he made some MASSIVE plays in the fourth quarter.
S: Jordan Parker - 60 - Parker had a few bad missed tackles.
Defensive Average: 78.7 (866)
SPECIAL TEAMS:
K: Austin Seibert - 89 - Didn't have to do much placekicking but kickoffs were strong.
P: Austin Seibert - 83 - Wasn't quite as good as we've seen him before.
KR: Tre Brown - N/A -
PR: Cedarian Lamb - N/A -
Special Teams Average: 86 (172)
KEY RESERVES:
RB: Kennedy Brooks - 81 - He. Needs. More. Carries.
HB: Jeremiah Hall - 82 - Maybe FB isn't dead after this season after all?
HB: Carson Meier - 83 - HUGE drop but made up for it with some big plays, nice blocking.
TE: Lee Morris - 88 - Guy just comes through again and again for Oklahoma.
DE: Jalen Redmond - 85 - What took him so long to get on the field?
CB: Parnell Motley - 55 - He had a few good moments but his bad ones were catastrophic.

Team Average: 81.4 (2442)
My Team Grade: 78
It wasn't a bad performance for Oklahoma but it also was pretty far from good.
The Sooners made numerous bad mistakes that they were lucky to get away with and the offense at times looks like it didn't know up from down. Finally when Tech had closed the gap to 35-34, Oklahoma got wise, stopped trying to air the ball out and just let the country's best offensive line batter an entirely overmatched defensive front.
Defensively I actually wasn't totally discouraged. Oklahoma missed some tackles again and that's still an issue but that's an offense that was held more than 50-yards under their season average .
It's not great but it's something to build on for the Sooners defense. The offense, perhaps this gets them moving along in a strong way.
