A High School Football Field Somewhere
OFFENSE:

QB: Kyler Murray - 96 - He was too high last week but he MORE than earned this one. BIG TIME.
RB: Trey Sermon - 86 - Got better as the game went on, was more decisive.
TE: Grant Calcaterra - 67 - Fumble really got Iowa State going.
WR: Myles Tease - 83 - Not a ton of impact but his catches were all big scenarios.
WR: Cedarian Lamb - 80 - Didn't play a lot after going off but had some key catches.
WR: Marquise Brown - 100 - Two weeks, two 100 point WR efforts. Two different guys. Crazy.
LT: Bobby Evans - 89 - Thought he had a really solid game, more back to what we're used to.
LG: Ben Powers - 91 - Powers was a big part of Oklahoma getting going on the ground in the second half.
C: Jonathan Alvarez - N/A - I missed the first series and he was gone quickly thereafter.
RG: Dru Samia - 74 - Holding call was pretty soft but still don't love what I see here.
RT: Cody Ford - 80 - Slow start but was much better as the game went on, been much better in pass pro than I ever expected.

Offensive Average: 84.6 (846)

DEFENSE:

DE: Kenneth Mann - 75 - He created a little pressure but was, by and large, an afterthought.
DT: Neville Gallimore - 84 - Big part of OU doing a half decent job with David Montgomery.
DE: Amani Bledsoe - 83 - Still kept noticing him but didn't finish enough plays.
JACK: Mark Jackson - 82 - Maybe the only guy who consistently created some pressure.
LB: Kenneth Murray - 91 - People will get mad but when OU made a big play it was almost always Murray.
LB: Curtis Bolton - 68 - So many missed tackles but also was leading the way for much of the D.
NB: Brendan Radley-Hiles - 74 - Had a nice play but still lacking consistency.
CB: Parnell Motley - 40 - Nice pick, not much else was a positive from the second quarter on.
CB: Tre Norwood - 60 - Missed some tackles (reccurring theme).
S: Justin Broiles -70 - Thought he really got picked on in the second half.
S: Kahlil Haughton - 50 - Theme continued...

Defensive Average: 70.6 (777)

SPECIAL TEAMS:

K: Austin Seibert - 98 - Could have failed Oklahoma but hit three key field goals, big performance.
P: Austin Seibert - 95 - Wasn't asked for much but 48.5 average and one inside the 20? That'll do.
KR: Tre Brown - 75 - Nothing wrong with Brown's lone return but ISU took him out of the game.
PR: Cedarian Lamb - N/A -

Special Teams Average: 89.3 (268)

KEY RESERVES:

C: Creed Humphrey - 83 - Want to watch more but my first impression is that this may be a little low.
RB: Marcelias Sutton - 75 - Glad to see he's ok but didn't show a lot on the day.
FB: Carson Meier - 86 - Blocking was, as always, very good but that catch was a huge play for the Sooners.
WR: A.D. Miller - 84 - Huge run after the catch today.

Reserves Average: 82 (328)

Team Average: 79.3 (2219)

My Team Grade: 75

This was one of those games where you had some really great performances and some really bad ones and then a whole bunch of 'eh' in the middle.

As such you get an 'eh' rating.

Oklahoma's defense had a few really tough days, particularly tackling in the secondary and for Curtis Bolton but then you had great work from Kenneth Murray and, for portions of the game in run defense, the defensive line.

Kyler Murray, I agreed after the MMI, was a guy that I had too high last week. This week? No such problem that was a huge performance with VERY few blips.

Scoring Standard:

100-82: Playoff Contender
82-74: Big 12 Title Contender
74-65: Bowl Game Participant
65-0: 'I'll be hoooome for Christmas
