3) Desean Brown (DE) - finally got offered, but appears he will be going to the Pokes
4) Demetrius Hunter (C) - decommitted after TBOW bolted; Committed to Houston today
5) Derrick Moore (DE) - decommitted after TBOW bolted; dont think there has been any contact with new staff; I'm betting Michigan or PSU
6) Marvin Jones Jr (DE) - was ready to commit before the staff left; think that ship has sailed; IMO USC or FSU
7) Gabe Dindy (DE) - OU legacy that committed to previous staff; decommitted prior to BV hiring; Committed to Aggies; With their DC leaving, does it re-open door? Doubt it
8) Chris McClellan (DT) - Instate DL that has been hot and cold with OU; Currently committed to UF, but was on campus this weekend
Feb Signing Day Targets:
1) Gentry Williams (CB) - Currently committed; waiting for CB coach hire; Sounds like hes being pushed by UF and Arky
2) Ahmad Moten (DT) - New offer by BV; Another big DT target, shows how BV wants to reshape the DL
3) R Mason Thomas (DE/OLB) - Cardinal Gibbons HS just like Moten; Current Iowa St commit; will probably get pushed by Miami as well
4) Jovantae Barnes (RB)** - Long time target by Sooners; OU appears to lead, but USC has jumped back in recruitment with his familiarity with TBOW; believe he is signing early but announcing at AA game
5) Devon Campbell - 5 star OG that was once trending to OU before the staff changed; Announced he is signing in Feb. Maybe OU can get back in this one?
That's what i have off the top of my head, may have missed some. Left off the Clemson decommits/commits due to BV not wanting to poach them (would love Kanak and Campbell).
Team needs:
1) IOL - no interior guys in this class. We had a good shot at Devon Campbell and Dewberry for a while, but it appears we will get neither. Neto was a target for a little while but hes headed to Austin. We've got to figure out a way to counter their NLI stuff they have going on.
2) CB - With Gentry and Brice both up in the air, we are going to need to find some help at corner.
3) DE - no DE or edge currently committed; Brown or Mason Thomas would do nicely; Brown obviously super unlikely
4) Portal Talent - we could also use experience/depth at WR, TE, & RB; not sure what BV is willing to do there.
