Anyone watched his video ?
He's listed as an "athlete" and I read where OU looks at him as a receiver, but his entire video shows him as a dual threat quarterback much like Manziel or Mayfield, with an extra step of speed. At 6'3" 185 lbs with 4.4 speed, he looks to have the potential to be a star at whatever position he plays.....and he has played at the class 6-A level at Spring-Dekaney High School near Houston.
His 3-star rating (so far) means nothing to me when I consider all the 3-star players currently responsible for OU's great 2015 season. OU looks to have a really good "wild card" prospect here.
Anyway, his video is very impressive, both passing and running.

Yep, just checked it out.
Guy has D1 stardom out the wazzu.
He's got moves too, reminds me of Jamelle Holieway sort of.
I'm thinking a star wide out? He's kind of small for QB, but then we're back to Jamelle, he wasn't that large either.
Good get nevertheless.

No, he's not tiny but, always fancied OU QBs to be around 200+ pounds for the beatings they take these days.
Also, between Schmitty and the OU diet, he'd bulk up.

We're kind of splitting hairs really.:D
We're not splitting hairs at all.....and I agree that Hardy will be 10-15 lbs heavier by the time he plays at OU, especially if he's redshirted.

He needs to be at least 210 at that height. They run a pro-style offense, not a spread, just some spread. They won state a few years back, with Trey Williams rushing for a Texas record 4000 yards that year.
