Can one of you guys that are good at pulling statistics tell me if there has been any other team in the modern era that has allowed 100% conversion on trips into redzone through 6 games?
Seriously, that level of futility is hard to accomplish without actually trying. Even the really, really bad teams luck out with a TO or a missed FG at some point. Recall that OU’s offense is one of the best out there and they were stuffed in the redzone by Army! 100% is simply astounding and really underscores just how bleak it is on that side. Teams work on this every week in practice. The level of demoralization on a defense that has yet to produce one rz stop must be astounding. How do you trust the coaches or rely on each other when that is happening?
