This year we have been flat butt-whipped in Texas!
A&M, Baylor, and TCU have recruited over 20 4-star players and we have recruited one!
Now that Baylor and TCU are both credible, OU's strong position in the Dallas area is apparently no more. We can only blame ourselves for this as we did a lot to help TCU and Baylor gain credibility in their last five years by sticking with the Big 12 conference and letting them in.
We have obviously shifted to a national recruiting scheme. I just hope we know what we are doing as time will tell.
IMO losing Monty is hurting now as he was our ace recruiter the last couple of years.
Hopefully we can finish strong but we need to make sure we have the right recruiting approach!
I for one am not sure in spite of our banner year in 2015!
IMO we must find a way to finish consistently in the Rivals Recruiting Top 10. We are not close now!
How can you finish in the final 4 and under perform in recruiting?
