Congratulations to the 2018 Big 12 champion Sooners. A number of historical things happened today, and I thought it might be fun to look at some.
1. It is the first time anyone has won 4 big 12 championships. It was the first time in over 25 years that any team has won 4 power 5 conference titles in a row.
2. Congrats to Kyler Murray. He is now the all time single season record holder for total yards from scrimmage at 4,945. The TD pass to Calcaterra put him past Baker Mayfields 4940 from last season. With a game to go he will be our First 5000 yard player.
3. Congrats to CeeDee Lamb and Marquis Brown the first two players in OU football history to surpass 1000 yards each in the same season.
Just some fun stuff...hopefully more to come.
