Based on past trends,
1. A long time verbal commitment is likely going to decommit at some point between now and signing day. Don't post some about how it's a reflection of the kid's personality or they are somehow a traitor. See item 5.

2. A bunch of OU verbal commitments are going to accept in home visits from other coaches. Most of the time it will mean nothing simply a courtesy in home from a position coach the player has gotten to know well.

3. OU will get some of these in home visits. More than likely they will lead nowhere but the OU coaches have to play out the process.

4. Everybody's verbal commitments are talking about taking a last couple of visits. It's not an OU problem it's happening to everyone in college football. Some of those visits will just never happen either cancelled by the kid or school. Some visits are courtesy visits based on long term recruiting relationships. This will aid OU in some cases, hurt OU's chance in others. All schools will be cutting their losses at some point with recruits.

5. OU is going flip someone's else verbal commitment. Not sure who or when but it's coming.

6. Josh M will be under more pressure than ever to keep visitors' names silent. OU is going to try and get a kid on campus for a visit without their current school finding out and killing the visit attempt by pressuring the kid. Expect Josh to embargo some visit info to not hinder OU's efforts.

7. Roster Attrition is coming. The ship numbers don't add up. Some names maybe released in the coming week now that school has started back up.

8. News is going to move faster and super fast. If you're not following Josh/SoonerScoop on Twitter you need to start, now. Expect more surprises like Valentin. Some of them will lead nowhere, some might be real shockers. OU has serious recruiting momentum unlike the program has seen since 2008. OU's been talking to a bunch of kids all fall. Those conversations are having a lot more impact.

9. We are going to have some signing day drama from at least two targets. Caleb Kelly and Tramonda Moore. Any prospects announcing on signing day are going to have some twists and turns the last 18 days.

10. Generally speaking, recruiting is a marathon not a sprint. The longest involved leader/finalist usually wins.

Finally, are we in for a signing day surprise again?
