and it's still so striking how physically outmatched we've been the past few years. We had guys like Hurts, Brooks, and Stevenson, who had great YAC usually, unable to break tackles against that Baylor defense. There was no breaking away from 5 guys and getting into the open field -- most of the time, when that first Baylor defender met the ball carrier, that's as far as it got. How the hell we won that game is beyond me, still.
All that in mind, I'm f#$%ing STOKED to watch our guys play some gritty, physical defense. I feel as if the edge is back in Norman. God bless you BV and Schmitty.
