I don't have anything against it either. I love capitalism, but I do find it ridiculous that he's trying to set the initial bar at $150 when he's just an accomplished Big 12 QB to date.Nice nothings wrong with that .get that money my guy
Agreed completely.I don't have anything against it either. I love capitalism, but I do find it ridiculous that he's trying to set the initial bar at $150 when he's just an accomplished Big 12 QB to date.
Maybe I'm out of touch with the prices of sports memoribilia, but I wouldn't pay $150 for Kyler Murray's autograph even if he were my son's hero and that's all he wanted for Christmas.
"So Legos and puzzles it is, bubba?"
I would hate to live in a state that has no passion for college sports...especially football. I guess up there they are all Patriot fans?I have a Bob Stoops autographed picture and football for sale but Connecticut has maybe 14 college football fans so make me an offer.
I refuse to let this wet blanket suppress my outrage!I'm just a LOT weirded out that my fellow Sooners aren't more accepting of this.
"Per Liz Mullen of Sports Business Journal, Rattler will sign autographs at the National Sports Collector Convention. He’ll be the first college football player to ever do so. Autographs will cost $150 a pop.
It's at a collector's convention, not a post game.
It's not bad at all since I have at least a dozen games to watch each weekend from everywhere in the country.I would hate to live in a state that has no passion for college sports...especially football. I guess up there they are all Patriot fans?
I PITY DA FOOL! Luv U V!!! I laughed out loud.I refuse to let this wet blanket suppress my outrage!

The freebee bag you get with a Happy Meal. I'm sure they have some sort of non-binary gender Lego set that McDonald's is pimping to children.Legos? Be prepared to spend more than $150.
They still do & will. This is an organized sports collectors convention. There will be plenty of people attempting to make money of his signature.I can remember the times when the Sooner players would sign a kid's program on the sideline while the kid's were in the stand. My how times have changed. But oh well.

really? I can't see Rattler signing autographs for free anymoreThey still do & will. This is an organized sports collectors convention. There will be plenty of people attempting to make money of his signature.
Aww heck I can. According to someone on the pay board he did for a kid a week or two ago. I don't see him sigining a ton of stuff when hes busy w/ pre-game or gametime, but when he's on his down time and out & about I can see him stopping for a kid.really? I can't see Rattler signing autographs for free anymore
I was mainly talking about like during the red/white game and fan appreciation day. I don't know why anyone would pay for it if he will give it out for free at these eventsAww heck I can. You probably know next to nothing about sports memorabilia then. That's not a knock on you. There are tons of people that equate an experience with value just as there are those that just want the "value." OU has a strong tradition of supporting the fans. The new stuff won't take away from that.I was mainly talking about like during the red/white game and fan appreciation day. You are right about that. I know absolutely nothing about sports memorabilia. I hope you are right.......just hard for me to believe people are willing to pay $150 for an autograph when they could get it for freeYou probably know next to nothing about sports memorabilia then. I agree. But most OU fans across the country can't make it to that game. In reality, these sports collector conventions are all about money. Most that attend are autograph seekers that profit from their time and money spent to obtain the autographs etc. It's an organized event where many spiort's figures attend one location at one time and the collector can go from booth to booth seeking autographs.I was mainly talking about like during the red/white game and fan appreciation day. It's already a done deal. It's happening. If the ncaa makes this legal then screw it, legal paydays are coming to major schools across the fruity plain
I would if the signature were Abraham Lincoln's or other famous historical people.I cannot think of a single human being that I would pay for an autograph. None. Nadda.
Hi CT. I had actual autographed photos of President's Kennedy, Reagan, and Bush # I. They were on the wall in my office when the 2009 wild fires roared through Southern Oklahoma. Lost everything except for pets, bibles, & family photos. Three homes.I would if the signature were Abraham Lincoln's or other famous historical people.
