See, Riley moving the press conference to Tuesdays means the Illegitimate Son doesn't get some of its goodies from the last two years when it was Monday and then post Illegitimate Son on late-Monday afternoon w/ some press conference news/notes.
So here was something I prob would have posted in The Son. Instead, it's Tuesday night filler. Enjoy.
Asked Spencer Rattler about how different the OU offense can look like if Theo Wease is as involved as he was vs. Texas for the rest of the season?
"I told myself after the Iowa State game I need to get the ball to Theo a little more. That’s one our best weapons right there. Me and him having that chemistry even before we got here… In that Texas game I made it in my mind I gotta get 10 the ball. Because I know he’s gonna make plays for me in this offense whenever we need him to. That’s a guy I trust more than anything throwing the ball to.
"He’s been doing great. He’s working on everything. He’s getting better. You should see nothing but improvement from him and a lot of the other guys throughout the year."
Wanna see if Wease continues with that No. 1 mindset because that's how he carried himself in the second half in Dallas. I can see him becoming an alpha more than ever could with someone like Charleston Rambo. See what goes down in Fort Worth.
