Yep, I was witness to the 7-7 tie with Duncan coached Iowa State at Norman in 1981.
I just couldn't believe it, a tie? Ugh!

At any rate, RIP coach.

My one and only personal conversation with the man, while boarding a plane, is one I wish I could forget. I'll just say... he wasn't in a good mood that day. He has now crossed the goal line. In light of eternity and God's amazing grace, I say, rest in peace Mr. Duncan.
