Question: if it's the players to blame for losses, why....

Everyone wants to think just because they are highly competitive athletes that they don't need motivation. Not everyone is self motivated and to extent no one really is, as there is always something you could be more motivated to do such as working, going to the gym, or work around the house. Kids with so much going on especially in today's age are even worse. There is a serious amount of egos on this team and most think that their crap doesn't stink. I would have thought after the Baylor game this would have been the wake up call, but apparently it wasn't. This team gets up a few touchdowns and then we just stop playing. The coaches are getting paid to not only develop these players, but to motivate and instill a sense of self discipline. Right now none of this is occurring. So the question now becomes what does Riley do from here, can he right the ship or does it continue to sink. My concern is that it will be the later and not the sooner. It sucks we lost but LR is learning, so it's now time to see if LR has what it takes to be a big time coach or is he simply in way over his head.
