A few take-aways, IMO:
1) This is a three-horse race. I gather that from the fact that Hansen received 1/2 the reps that the other three received. Has nothing to do with the way he looked out that. He looked good.
2) QB play in the coming year will not be crippled by poor/limited WR play.
3) Assuming my statement in #1 is correct, Knight is the only dual threat we have. He looked significantly more agile/mobile than Mayfield . . . who looked significantly more mobile than Thomas.
4) All of them can make all the throws.
5) Mayfield is a gunslinger . . . but can throw a pretty ball.
6) Thomas is a LEGIT Pro Style QB with the best mix of accuracy and strength, purely from a passing standpoint.
7) Based on what I saw today, if I had to choose a starter . . . I would pick Knight . . . but ONLY if my OC was committed to letting him use his legs. Surprised to here myself say this because his injury history is a BIG drawback for me.
8) We are, in fact, in much better shape going into the coming season for our passing game than we were last year.
