Thanks for the support. It's not often that we get this deep in the tourney, so it's pretty exciting. My gut tells me if OU can get past Villanova, the Sooners can win it all. We've had some pretty good players come through OU, but we'll never see another player like Buddy Hield, at least in my lifetime!

UK fan didn't jinx the Sooners. It's life. It's competition. Happens in sports. Happens in careers. Happens in relationships. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you win big. Sometimes you lose. Sometimes you lose big.

Some people will be bitter for a long, long time. Some will even be annoyed for me writing this. Others will get over the soreness in a few days, dust off and move on to the next challenge. That's the way Sooner athletics is. They don't give up and they'll be back. That's why I'm proud of the OU Mens BB team / coaches and what they did this year. Congratulations to Nova for taking the Sooners to the woodshed in the rematch. Our guys should have played better.

I like this, 22...Wish I'd written it...Buddy and The Boys brought a LOT more to OU, to Oklahoma, and to the NCAA, than just a Winning Basketball Record. It wasn't only about the Scoreboard, it was about watching what a very diverse Band of Brothers, and their coach, brought to the court, night after night. They were a Bright Spot...a package of Youth, Health, Happiness, Talent, and FUN...Something we could be Proud of, not only for a season, but from now on...Oklahoma needed that...These are tough times for our state...for our citizens...

This Team was about Much More than the Score...We didn't even win the Big XII Conference Championship, yet we dared to dream, that with a measure of Sooner Magic, we might win it all...For a Season, we felt some Hope...Had something to Smile about...We fell short, but there's no denying, These Boys are Winners...

Thanks to the 2016 Sooners for the Experience...What a Ride!
