you had to pick a QB to start for the Sooners. Josh Heupel or Baker Mayfield(I know he was a baby but just play along). So a proven JUCO starter or a somewhat polarizing newcomer to the big 12. I ask because with some talk nationaly about the Sooners possibly being a dark horse contender for the playoff is it inconceivable that Mayfield has at least what it takes to get this team where it needs to be if not this year then next? Just curious forgetting what we know of Heupels reign would Mayfield ever have started in '99 & 2000?
