1. Those white hats with the black on black socks and shoes are SEXY. They should wear those hats with our home Crimson sometimes.
2. Where in the hell as Caleb been? I dont think enough people understand how important angles of pursuit are. If you chase correctly, you'll run the ball carrier into your help. He came in and immediately made an impact in both the run and pass game.
3. If Kyler keeps it up...we will win the Heisman again. Kid isnt Bake, but hes his own animal. That scramble on 3rd and 12 where he wanted to slide but kept running and lunged for the 1st was key. He didn't love the push he got going in to the endzone on his TD...got cleaned up by his own guy
4. I saw a much improved defense today. I saw dbs compete. We had 8 pbu's. Those will turn into ints if guys cont to compete. Dline got some pressure, we confused them with delayed blitzes...we left 2 additional sacks on the field by I believe barnes and bledsoe??? They had him dead to right and just didnt bring hips. Cant just grab with big boy football. Gotta bring it.
5. Brooks? Kid made an impact today. He earned some reps. We should all be excited to build some quality depth. Sermon is still lead dog. He just needs to get going and starting most of his carries running parallel to the LOS hurts his style.

We still suck at it. Plenty of suckage to go around to many a defender. I was convinced our backers arent taught to break down and then drive inside out until Caleb came in and did it in space on that jitter bug rb. Salute to him for that, but we have to tackle better. Even when we square a wr or rb up they fall for 2 or 3 more yards because we arent wrapping and bringing hips. We grab and get dragged backwards.
7. Riley...if it ain't broke, dont fix it. The power pass RPO is impossible to stop with Kyler out there. ...it isnt exactly power, but reading the backer and for us...even the safety we continue to get behind the defense up the seam. You can do that with ease when both our outside wrs require safety help.
8. Our wr coaching is incredible. Guys run good routes, are aggressive with the ball and after the catch and our 1s catch everything. #LOVEIT
9. How about Dusty showing us love and repping the squadron appropriately. Feels good to get some Sooner love by one of the ESPN personalities.
10. Fuk'n Texas next game. Enough said. They played like shit today, but their style is tailor made to move the chains and keep us off the field. We have got to tackle. If we do...we win by 17.
