Playing not to lose gets you beat

Frustration seems to be my feeling and most OU fans at this time. Defensive players out of position basically right up the middle. Unable like several times before to make quick or any adjustments. I just think our DC should leave on his own. Poor punting all night long with very below average special teams play . The squib kick was fine if executed but probably should have kicked it deep or even out of bounds.Most of all very conservative play calling second half and overtime. LR gets a lot of credit and he should but in the second half of several games he got super conservative. Our running game was outstanding tonight and we were able to pass off of that. Then the second half started and we kept running reverses and gadget plays and got away from Rodney A and Sermon. Same thing in OT. IMO very poor play calling at the end of the game cost us a win. When you have to score 45 or 50 points game to insure a win you're in trouble. LR , do the right thing on defense and let's try it again next year.
