I'm ready to bury old hurts and just talk shop around here, but the conversation I had with Josh was started by something totally unrelated. I was surprised when he expressed even the possibility of nuking the site.
I'm a little wary of when you and I or Fitty and I trade friendly barbs with each other. That is part of the fun here. but i understand Josh's views on this. So I'm going to try really hard to just get along. There are going to be times when that's really hard. I'm just glad I haven't been drunk since the early 70s. That could really get a guy in trouble.

That same concern crossed my mind, too, Plaino...If Josh doesn't know the backstory on some of our ongoing exchanges, he may well get the wrong idea of the intent. I may well be the first to go... I'm sassy and I enjoy getting my share of 'Gotcha' Moments, so guess I need to dial that back, or it'll be 'So Long, it's been good to know you uns' and I'll be out of here...

I mean I've advocated for the discontinuation of this board in the past because it's open to the public and represents the school in a way that everyone can see. For the most part I find humor here. There are nuggets of substance, but it's an outlet to me to talk to people that I have common interest with. I'd rather post here than on the pay board personally and I've picked on everyone and been picked on by everyone. As long as it's not personal (or clearly made personal via a joke), I don't have a problem with a single person on this free board. I've joked with people I consider friends, and with people I hardly know as well as people from other boards. It's healthy to have that banter even if it pisses me off from time to time.
There are clearly persons that don't like other persons, I've not taken sides in the matter because I do find a bit of substance on each side...however, if all you post is "good grief, stop stalking me" then clearly, you don't have anything to contribute even if it's off topic and you shouldn't post that.
Frankly, I find this a bit tedious. The tools are available to ignore people if you want to. That Josh has to step in here is embarrassing to this board, to the OU community at large and to any other fan/player/coach reading these forums. Perhaps just think about the audience watching the thread may be before you reply.

I guess I have a reading or reading comprehension issue..either that or I don't read the board as much.anymore. I haven't seen his presence on the board. There was the one thread that was deleted, but I have no idea of the content.
I can say with complete confidence THAT will never happen. While I agree with you and understand what you're saying, I think Josh just "fixed" the problem. I'd hate to think that OU fans would be deprived of the opportunity to have a forum like this available for free. Obviously, I give a lot of credit to Plaino for representing all of us with Josh on that front. This board takes care of itself. It always has.

You know I've been divorced for more than three years and was separated for more than six before that. And the thing I miss the most about long term singlehood is having nobody to scratch my back, or maybe scrub it in the shower.
So I'm looking for somebody not to far from Plano to have my back.
Plaino the metroplex is loaded with women. Just get out there and find one man. Time to dust off your game and find a chick to throw it down on.
