I just went to his official site and didn't see any articles that pertain. Did you get it out of his magazine?
He probably figures we will lose a game or two at the beginning of our schedule. In our first 5 games, we play Houston, ULM, Ohio State, TCU, and UT. Pretty tough schedule.

Had the radio on this morning while I was in the restroom when I heard the talking heads on a sports show discussing it. They, like me, couldn't believe he didn't have OU in his top 5.

FWPD's new policy requires 2 officers per car. Still not a great solution but it beats just a hope that things will magically improve. He and the Department have always been in my prayers but those prayers just keep getting more and more detailed and lengthier.
My prayers extend to WNAS's son and law enforcement in general. Tough and dangerous job.

Thank you Sir. We spoke last night. He's doing well and glad to hear your son is doing the same. LEO is under a major league microscope but he tells me that if he practices as he was trained, he'll be ok. I do know that he has a tremendous amount of pride in his community & loves what he does. I'm like Fitty, I know upfront that I just couldn't do it on a sustained basis. But he's ate up w/ it. He says his only concern is that he is always training the Rooks & as such he has to concentrate on them as well as his surroundings.
We're all bleassed to have the LEO that we have in our neighborhoods. FTW, I'll say a kind word for your son tonight.
I am not sure who you were listening to on the radio but I am looking at Steele's magazine as I type this and he has OU ranked #3 in his pre-season top 40, behind FSU & Alabama at 1& 2. TCU is ranked #11.
Amen, my oldest bro is retired LE, my sister and her husband both current LE, first cousin State Trooper, cousin retired LE, Dad was MP in Air Force back in the 60's. I have at least 14 friends that are current or retired LE. Talk to one and get to know one and listen to their stories. You will then know what a day is like in their shoes. They dont ask for accolades they just do what they do, its a thankless job. Bless them all.

The tough schedule refers to 3 of our 1st 5 games being with nationally ranked opponents and then there's UT. Included ULM merely in the sequencing of our 1st 5 games.
Am awed by your family's LE background. Hope the disturbingly wacky left soon ends their full-on assault on LE.

I shudder to imagine how it'd be without LE.
Damascus Syria comes to mind.
The shameful thing is, imho, that the LE governmental support in Damascus is vastly superior when compared to the likes of LE governmental support in D.C. and several major U.S. cities to include, but certainly not limited to, N. Y. and Dallas.
Oh the evil that men do. Some will assert that this structured and sustained chaos is advanced and continuously manipulated in the name of much needed Progress.

What's galling is there are some powerful people that believe the cops deserve this comeuppance.
20 years ago they'd have been prosecuted for sedition.
They even got me into collecting LE memorabilia.
