Eddie posted ScoopHD, and it's a great illustration of a dude that is at his wits end with Parnell Motley. To me? He was the guy to go to talk about this. He's from D.C., just has a different mentality than rest of team... and it showed.

You could dismiss Motley by saying he hasn't played well at all this season, but here are some of his gems from postgame in written form.

Defense in first half?

It’s very frustrating when a team like Texas keeps pounding you and you don’t do nothing about it. The first half was really rough. We went back at half and talked things over. The second half we kind of picked it up and in the fourth quarter. That shouldn’t have happened. We should had that all day and dominated all day and we wouldn’t have been in that predicament.

How, at this point, do you become more physical?

It’s the attitude. First it’s the attitude. You have to practice being physical every day. At times, we take time off and stuff like that. You have to want to be physical. You have to want to have an edge. You have to want this. At times, we have to keep fighting. We have to be the physical opponent and dominant our end of the ball.

Frustrating that it’s tackling and missed assignments?

It’s really frustrating. We just keep talking about it and talking about it. I get tired of that shit. We have to go f***in' … we gotta go prove it. It’s crazy. We keep talking about and not doing it. I’m tired of talking. We just have to go out there and play.

What makes you think you can do that the second half of the season?

We have to have that attitude. We have to just keep digging deep. We can’t keep letting it haunt us … we have to have that attitude and want to be the physical (team) and want to fight. The second half of the season, we have to keep fighting
