The only thing worse than a week where no undefeated teams get beat is one where the only undefeated team getting beat is your own. But the show must go on. Perhaps the biggest story of W9 for the Survivor Pool was the extremely narrow escape for James Madison (the football team, not the founding father) versus Old Dominion (the football team, not the trucking franchise). Had the Dukes fallen, it would have taken out nearly half the field. Alas, they did just enough to keep perfection alive with a 30-27 win over the Monarchs. Although nobody had the Sooners in Week 9, we did nonetheless see the list of contestants shrink.
