OU-texas to play RRS on Fox Sports 1

OU-texas played on ABC or ESPN since 1999. Now it's moving to Fox Sports 1 this year. Sadly, I think this says a lot about how the RRS (and the Big 12) has lost some if it's appeal on a national level. One on hand I'm glad that I'll be able to see it on TV, but am disappointed that it's not being carried by one of the flagship stations. I would much rather see OU destroy texas on national TV, but as long as OU wins, I don't care where it's played or who is showing the game.

Facts:

Abc got first pick and chose Texas vs ND.
Fox got pick 2 and 3 and went OU vs Tosu and OU vs Texas.
It's on Fox1 because MLB playoffs are that Saturday, Oct 8th.

Don't jump to conclusions.
Texas and OU thought of very highly still but ABC couldn't pass up ND vs UT on Sunday night PrimeTime so Fox jumped on the OU wagon.

Be that as it may, FS1 viewership of that will be just north of 2 million.
On ABC, aka free TV, it would be 4.5 million.
