It has been a downward spiral since 2008. Poor coaching hires, lackluster recruiting and poor coaching. Topple that with poor technique and lack of sound fundamental football you have this massive decline we are in.

We were lucky to beat Bama and that has been Bob's staple win since playing in the Natty vs Florida. I think if he gets embarrassed in that game we would have another head coach today. He doesn't have it anymore and relies on his coaching staff to some how pull a miracle out of their ass to win.

The coaching doesn't understand how to adjust in game to combat what the other team is doing. That was obvious today with the way we lined up on both ends of the football. Defense playing pass protect most of the day when anyone who studied how Texas played would know you crowd the box all day. The O-line is atrocious but why didn't Riley adjust and have more passing out to the flats to defeat the blitz? Use the tightens to pass protect and released for hook routes that were available all day in the middle with the constant blitzing of Texas.

Let's put Baker in the pocket and have the blitzing defense collapse the pocket all day. How about some misdirection with Mixon and Perine...nope lets run up the middle where the O-line is getting zero push. Just dumbfounded how we tried to run up the middle over and over with little to no success.

I'm just lost for words how bad our game plans have become the last 5 years and lack of adjustments. Texas will lose another 4-5 games because the opposing defenses will recognize they are one dimensional and will plan for it accordingly. We, sadly do none of that. Lack of coaching preparation, lack of motivation from our coaches and players, poor technique, etc.

I have been a big supporter of Bob even through the dumpster fire we saw vs Clemson but today I have come to the conclusion he is not the coach he once was and never will be. The coaching was ATROCIOUS on both sides of the ball and that falls on Stoops. Forget about making the playoffs...can we win more than 8 games in this conference? I just don't see it with Bob. Pains me to say this because I know he has been a great
Ambassador for our university and a good man but he has got to go. Time for some new blood
