Oklahoma is drawing some negative attention at Orange Bowl media day thanks to its attempt to censor reporters’ questions to running back Joe Mixon.
Mixon was suspended for the entire 2014 season for allegedly striking a female in the face during an incident in July 2014. OU told reporters that anyone asking Mixon non-football questions today would be escorted out of the media session.
Reporters predictably aren’t adhering to these guidelines, and the Sooners are getting crushed on social media for the move.
