Was listening to Sooner Sports Radio the other day and one of the shows was talking about a very interesting topic. Apparently, the Big 12 purposely backloaded Oklahoma, Baylor, Oklahoma State, and TCU's schedules to where they would all play each other at the very end. Their idea is that the teams will have very favorable schedules, and that at least 2 of them will be 9-0 going into those last three games. They chose these teams because TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma, and OSU are suppose to be the top 4 preseason favorites. There was talk of trying to add in KSU and Texas to this mix. But Oklahoma and Texas obviously meet in October every year, and OU and the pokies always play in the last game. So K State and UT were out. Not to mention that TCU and Baylor are better than KSU and UT. So yeah, maybe the Big 12 finally did something right. Hopefully these high powered games will make up for the missing conference championship. And who knows, maybe if our Sooners get by K State we'll go into these last three games 9-0 and pull off some Sooner Magic.
