I am stoked about the way our defense is playing. It is still early, but that is as good a defensive performance as I can remember against what I consider to be a good and talented offensive team. We gave up something like 30 points per game last year, and this group looks like it may yield well under 25 points per game, perhaps even around 20. That is cause for celebration and, as I see it, should be the main takeaway from our first two games.
