Said it for weeks about it feeling like a countdown and dominoes falling and all that good stuff. But man, it all came in a hurry in the last 24 hours.
So, let's recap.
Christian Braun, expected to visit OU this weekend, has now committed to Kansas:
Once KU offered Aug. 30, it felt like a countdown. So even though he had set up the OU visit, the Jayhawks offer pretty much destroyed anything that had come before in Braun's recruitment.
Samuell Williamson, expected to visit OU this weekend, has now committed to Louisville:
Once KU moved on from him, thought OU would have a fighting chance. Turns out sources started to see the writing on the wall, believing either A&M or Louisville would be the choice.
Also got word late Mon that OU has now withdrawn itself from consideration for Jalen Graham, who had made an official visit earlier this month:

It was supposed to be Braun, Williamson and Malik Hall visiting this weekend. As it stands, Hall is still coming, but who knows? The consensus there is OU is playing from behind in a massive way with Michigan State and Purdue. So we'll see.

But yes, absolutely, there are reasons to believe that good news is coming.
OU has done everything right in this recruitment:
Hill is expected to announce Thursday. However, would expect some OU fireworks even before Hill. Don't be surprised if Wednesday turns out to be a pretty good day for Kruger and company.
