Someone was asking recently about any video showing OU's 7-foot Akolda Manyang. He was rated the #1 Juco prospect by some services. He's also the cousin of former OU player Longar Longar who still lives in Norman. Manyang went to Indian Hills Community College up in Iowa and they were in the top 2-3 ranked juco program for much of the past 2 years.
It's been reported that Manyang has been working out with John Lucas in Houston (along with Khadeem Lattin), but is now in Norman with the rest of the OU team for the summer session. This video is from his freshman season at Indian Hills so he probably has improved a lot from then.
Manyang and Lattin will battle it out to fill the vacated post position from TaShawn Thomas, and both should be really good defensively. It's been a long time since we had a rim protector like this.
