I fear this thing won't end until Hughes is gone. Granted we have a young team. But young doesn't actually mean they will be "good". And my biggest fear is that Hughes gets his last year of the contract in 2017.

(Sorry - I am passionate about OU baseball and this is unacceptable)

LUBBOCK, Texas – The University of Oklahoma baseball team dropped its third straight as it lost on consecutive nights at Texas Tech, 6-1, in front of 4,014 at Rip Griffin Park on Friday night. The Sooners fell to 11-12-1 overall and 0-2 in the Big 12, while the Red Raiders lifted their record to 15-7 and 4-1.

And the misery continues. My question is I thought in baseball we played a 3 game series against conference teams. Meaning Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Why was this series Thursday, Friday, and Saturday?

LUBBOCK, Texas – The University of Oklahoma baseball team suffered a 13-7 setback to Texas Tech as it was swept in its Big 12-opening series in front of 4,432 at Rip Griffin Park on Saturday afternoon. The Sooners, who have lost four in a row, dropped to 11-13-1 overall and 0-3 in conference play, while the Red Raiders improved to 16-7 and 5-1.
