Oklahoma (25-15, 9-4) goes for its third consecutive Big 12 series victory this afternoon. Alec Hansen (4-4 3.40 ERA) takes the mound for Oklahoma with a league leading 69 strikeouts on the year, opponents hitting .224 off the right hander.
* Friday night recap ... Oklahoma won the opener on Friday night behind 7.1 innings from starter Jake Elliott. Kolbey Carpenter delivered his team-leading seventh home run in the top of the 8th to give Oklahoma a 2-0 lead. Jacob Evans then came on to close it out working a clean frame in the 9th and recording his team-leading fifth save of the year.
* With last nights save Jacob Evans is now tied for fifth most saves in school history (14) with Bucky Buckles.
