There won't be a banner hung or parade planned but Oklahoma did check-in a top 25 poll on Monday. After taking two of three from Texas over the weekend Oklahoma (24-14, 8-4) checked in at No.23 in the Collegiate Baseball News Top 25.

They were not ranked by Baseball America but were mentioned as a team considered by d1baseball.com.

Working on a preview for tomorrow's game vs. Dallas Baptist ... here are some items that stuck out:

* Dallas Baptist is ranked No.1 in the RPI on BoydsWorld. OU jumped up to 62.

* The Sooners pitching staff is ranked 16th in the country in strikeouts per 9, averaging 8.9 Ks per game. Over the entire season OU's pitching staff has recorded 341 strikeouts.

-- Compared to Big 12 the next closest team is Oklahoma State with 289 strikeouts.

* Robert Tasin's role on the team is quickly becoming one the more special stories of the season. On Sunday he recorded his team-leading sixth win of the season. That ranks in a tie for second most in the Big 12.

* OU is currently ranked 19th in the country in hits ... Next closest Big 12 team: Kansas (353 - ranked 48th) ... Dallas Baptist ranks 50th with 351.
