CAN SOMEONE PIN THIS THREAD for a few days so the info is visible? Thanks
Wanted to let everyone know Army ROTC is celebrating 100 years at OU this year. They are planning some cool stuff around the Army game.
A number of university officials including Galligly and Patti Gasso are tandem jumping with a Special Forces team called the Black Daggers on Friday. LZ is near Lloyd Noble. In AM Friday
OKARNG band working with the Pride.
Field size US flag for anthem on field.
Black Daggers jumping in game ball (weather permitting)
Ft Sill bringing some large equipment to the Armory.
Army Aviation stadium flyover (weather petmittng) - OKARNG assets
I think I’m forgetting stuff but please show you aporeciation if you are the game. I’ll be on the field with the giant flag. Very excited to step on that field.
Although probably don’t need to ask but we hope we give a warm welcome to the Army team. Clobber them! But make them feel welcome. We know a lot of West Point grads plan to be there.
BTW the Armory is almost 100 years old too. On the National Register of Historic Places now.
Go Sooners! Beat Army! (Only time I’d ever say beat Army!)
Hope we cope with Army’s wishbone type offense. Use this game to tune up our D.
