Other scores: North Carolina scores in two plays. Clemson 21-20, Final.

A&M and Arky close at the half. 21-17, Aggies.

Lots of empty seats at Jerrah World. The broadcast camera angles are doing all they can to not show the crowd.

Wisconsin hosting Northwestern, a little letdown after smoking Michigan a week ago. Badgers 7-3 at half.

The teams are wearing throwback uniforms in recognition of the 150th anniversary of college football. Both helmets include a logo from the 1800's.

Blurb from Under Armor

Ahead of their 2019 matchup, Under Armour worked with the Wildcats and Badgers to create uniforms that honor the history between the teams. As part of the brand’s celebration of college football’s 150th anniversary, when they play each other Northwestern and Wisconsin will wear uniforms inspired by their respective teams in the 1890s.

Under Armour identified each of the Wildcats-Badgers games that ended in a tie, and used the 0-0 result in 1891 as the creative catalyst behind this year’s threads.

Both teams will wear minimalist uniforms, bringing the feeling of the earliest days of college football to Camp Randall. The “NU” and “UW” from the 19th century flyer sweaters will adorn the Northwestern and Wisconsin jerseys and helmets.

Glad I don't have to listen to UNC sports talk this week. Won't be a whole lotta love for Mack.

I disagree. That team had no business being on the field with Clemson, but they played great. It was the right call to go for two, you could absolutely argue the play call. UNC is lucky to have Mack right now.

When I think North Carolina, I think about Julius Peppers picking Quentin Griffin up off of the ground and bodyslamming him like it was WWE Smackdown. Hilarious looking tackle on poor Griffin. I loved Griffin, but I couldn't help but laugh at that tackle. I've tried finding it on YouTube but no success.

I don't know about the play, but pretty sure you can find the whole game online.

Nebraska was hopeful. But at home, they are getting plundered by tOSU. 48-7 last I looked. It was 38-zip at half.

Ok St smoking undefeated KState 23-6 in Stillwater, early 4th.

at home, Auburn kills Miss St 56-23.

Notre Dame came from behind to beat previously undefeated Virginia 35-20.

Michigan St beat Indiana, and actually scored some points, 40-31.

UCLA leads Arizona early 7-0. The Wildcats, who beat TTech last week, are without Kalihl Tate, their stud quarterback.

Baylor's kicker, who hadn't made an FG this season, did with 21 seconds left, to beat Iowa State in Waco, 23-21.

I think Clemson has been really struggling so far this season and TL isn’t having the season everyone thought he would. They look very beatable this year. Mack has always had guts of steel and going for 2 was a gutsy call but honestly wasn’t there still like almost 2 minutes left in the game? I think this time he would have been better served to just go for the tie and hope his D could prevent the Tigers from getting into FG range and take his chances in OT.

On a side note Auburn looks like a team that could very well win the SEC West this year and keep Alabama out of the playoffs as I also think LSU just may beat Bama. Bama’s defense isn’t that great this season.

Speaking of defense the scores are down so far in the B12 this season ( I mean combined points ) so maybe we are seeing defenses returning to the conference. I am really enjoying seeing this because those week after week 55-48 type games drives me crazy. Maybe it could be because some of the offenses have taken a step back but I want to give defenses some credit.

I honestly think right now picking the 4 best teams would be impossible as about 10 teams could possibly win it all. Now ESPN would argue and say 3 SEC teams plus Clemson are the clear cut best 4. Thats what they said last night on CFB Final. Lol.

BTW did Calcaterra play yesterday as I dont remember even seeing him have a pass thrown his way.

@StevenCarter96: Why didn’t Calcaterra play as much as usual?

Great question. Grant Calcaterra has definitely had a slow start to the season, and it’s really not his fault. This offense has many weapons that I think you can easily get lost in it.

Calcaterra still played quite of bit, but when CeeDee Lamb and Charleston Rambo are running wide open, it’s hard not to just keep throwing it to them. Calcaterra will have a big game soon, he just has to continue to stay patient and wait his turn.
