Other Game...

Looks like Jimbo needs to go back to recruiting football players from the Florida Department of Corrections.

Can't seem to play well without that prison swag.

Not underestimating Houston at all BillyRay. Just taking the opportunity to be a little smarmy toward FSU.

Btw, despite the score, FSU front 4 is abusing the Cougar OL big time. Ward getting sacked almost as a matter of routine since the Cougs have slowed down the tempo.

It's becoming a game of injured QB's. Houston is racking up the negative yardage plays and have given up trying to throw downfield. Cougs have gone vanilla in their offensive approach starting the 2nd half.

Just a matter of time before FSU catches them.

Clemson has three big wins this year. UNC lost to a team without a quarterback. Houston is doing pretty well so far against FSU. It's now 21-10. It would be great for UHouston and the Sooners to take care of business with a little extrapoint margin.

Houston has had a season worthy of a B12 school. Big TV market. Red and White school colors (same as the Huskers). Fun place to travel. Nice fall weather. Just saying.

Houston brings this offensive game plan against the Sooners next year and we'll hang half a hundred on them with Houston getting maybe 10 points.

Not impressed right now with the Cougs offensively. Credit needs to be given the FSU D but Houston is looking awful on O. Ward's feet is their offense as he can't hit the broad side of a barn with his weak passes.

Appears Houston is coasting on offense wanting their D to keep FSU's offense in check. Not crazy about this if that's their thinking.

But the city doesn't care about them. They would have the smallest stadium in the conference. They didn't even sell out when they got to play their CCG at home. Imagine what it would be like in years when they were down a little, which might happen more frequently if they were in the XII.

They don't add tv coverage, because there are z lot more Longhorn fans, probably more Tech fans than UH fans in Houston.

It's 24-17 Cougs with six minutes left, but suddenly, Seminoles max blitzed with Houston at the FSU 19 and they sent the corner AND the safety from the same side. Nobody covered the wide on that side. Easy pitch and catch for the td.

UHouston 31-17. Looks like the second straight Clemson "big wins" ain't looking so good.

I guess maybe have a chance.

Who else do you would be interested in the B12 that's a better choice? A B12 membership is likely to make a difference.

Certainly didn't mean it as a slight towards you ftworth. FSU no doubt has taken a little bit of a step down since winning the title a couple years ago. But if they lose today they still notched a 10-3 year. Just a couple of years ago on this board, people were touting 10 win seasons in pretty high regard. But I do agree it's nice to see FSU being beaten. Lol :D

I'm in the minority, but I think ten is fine unless you can add the right two.

I'd agree with you except there aren't two quality teams out there that would make sense location-wise that would even consider the B12. I feel the conference needs the CCG and that's the only reason to expand to 12.

UH 38 FSU 24. I just flipped over from our pre-game show. I didn't see the last UH TD. Did anyone see it? Long drive or quick hitter?

I didn't see the touchdown. But they got into position because Houston's best receiver caught a pooch kick on the ensuing kickoff after FSU made it 31-24 and returned it past midfield and almost broke it with 4:00 left. They made a first down and then on second down and ten their quarterback ran a sweep left made five, but got fallen on and looked like he might have a bad knee issue. He seemed to be in a lot of pain. I switched channels, and when I came back, they were up 38-24. I was thinking it might have been a defensive score.
