Out of a sense of fair play and curiosity, I listened to 3 presentations (songs). Not one time during the session did I hear a musical note . No C, no b flats, no f sharps, not a single note in the entire chromatic scale. What I did hear was some creative lyrics , presented in a monotone voice, to an aggressive beat.
For me it wasn't music . It was more like a reading with a beat. Reminded of a a different time and place back in the early 60s, the Beat Generation was fond of gathering in tea houses and reciting poetry with a flute background. Oh well, different strokes. Give me Bing, Perry, Andy, Burl, Frank, or any number of talented songsters (who have voice control and can sing beautiful melodies), for my Christmas music.
